happy one week!!

today cole is one week old!! and the good news is we survived our first week of parenthood! we celebrated this little milestone like big old geeks! brad got him a cupcake to mark the occasion. he was yawning when we took the picture like we were boring him with our enthusiasm! we also went for our first walk today since we have been blessed with such nice weather for this time of year. we even picked some pretty leaves!

family matters

the number one reason brad and i decided to move up north was to be closer to our family and friends especially since we were starting our family. we are both really happy we were able to have so many family to come see our little man. we can't wait for him to meet the rest of his family and friends, especially those in georgia!

coming home!

we got to come home today and are super happy to be home. healing from the c-section is still going on. i just have to remember to let brad help me and that i am not super woman. i am a little nervous about how well we will do as parents, without the help of nurses, BUT we will have help this weekend. we have taken a million pictures and i think just about every time i post i will try to add at least one picture. he's just too cute not to! i know im biased but i am allowed to be!

due date

today was cole's actual due date, but luckily for us we have already had two wonderful days with him!

we are still in the hospital so this is going to be very short until we get home. bean is here! we named him cole. he was born at 10:02 am on 10-03-07. he weighed 8lbs 10oz and measured 21" long. he scored perfect on all of his tests they gave him when born. he's nothing less than amazing. i can not get enough of him! here are some pictures to hold you over. i look rough because they were taken my grandpa dean RIGHT after surgery.

sneak peek....

i am so excited to meet my baby boy. it's all i can think about. in less than 36 hours i will be a momma. i am not sure how long it will be before i can send everyone pictures so i wanted to give you a sneak peek.
