4 weeks

not only is cole four weeks today, it's his first halloween! happy halloween!!

now if you know me at all you know i have no fashion sense. so luckily cole has auntie brooke to help him! cole is very well dressed thanks to her!

first bath!

one of the best things about a baby is all of the firsts. i feel like im constantly saying "aww this is his first ....". well today was cole's first bath. he has loved the sponge baths, but today was a bit different. we set up the little tub and got everything ready, including the video camera! i started to lower him slowly into his tub and his little lip started to quiver. he actually grabbed onto my shirt and pulled himself to me and away from the water. i tried it again and he did better the second time. he was still unsure about the tub. he didn't scream the whole time, but he wasn't exactly thrilled either.

3 weeks old!

wow time is flying by. cole has already been here 3 weeks. to celebrate 3 weeks we had to of course take a million pictures. here our some of the favorites.

gaining

today we went to the doctor for our check up. it went great! the doctor said we are doing a wonderful job with him! he is up to 9.5 lbs. so all my concerns with breast feeding have pretty much vanished now! he also grew a 1/2". new born outfits no longer fit him because he is too long for them. the 0-3 are quite baggy on him, but at least he has room to stretch!

busy weekend

last wednesday auntie brooke came up. we were so happy to have her! she fed us, cleaned, and even did some laundry. auntie brooke even took us on our first shopping trip to get mommy some winter clothes. she spoiled us and helped out so much! we were so bummed she had to leave, so she took us back to nj with her. cole got to make his first trip to nj and to visit his gram and poppy! it was so nice to have extra help with cole for a couple of days. brad helps a ton but his work schedule makes it a little difficult, so i was happy to get some help and extra sleep!!

torture at 2 weeks

so for cole's big two week birthday, we tortured him!!! what is cuter then a baby with pumpkins?? taking pictures is not as easy as it should be though. he moves a bit faster then us. this is when i think a professional camera or camerman comes in handy. BUT hey we tried!!
