xmas!!

brad and i were both up before cole this morning. we were so excited for him to wake up and to see what santa brought him. when he finally woke and we went downstairs he started to look at the gifts under the tree but then he noticed the train table! he was so excited, he's been asking for one for over a month. he played with the train table for a goor 45 minutes before we could pull him away to open any other gifts. we had a great morning in out pjs playing with new toys and even taking a break to watch his new dinosaur movie. it as such a great xmas!

nemo live on ice

cole has been such a good boy that santa sent him an early xmas gift! he sent us tickets to go see finding nemo live on ice. we ended up with front row center seats, there was no possible way to have better seats!! we weren't sure if he would enjoy it or be able to sit through the show since the show started at his bedtime. however he loved it. he was into every second of it!

jumping jungle

in the hopes of getting cole out a bit more we have been going to some events with a moms group. this week we went to jumping jungle which has a ton of blow up bouncy things and slides. cole had a great time running around like a wild man and fell asleep as soon as he made it into his car seat!

nj xmas

this weekend we celebrated xmas a little early with everyone in nj! i have been so excited about xmas with cole this year and it truly was great! he had a blast opening his gifts. as you might notice there was an outfit change half way through the gifts. he loved the toy story shirt aunt brooke and uncle jon got him and his other favorite gift was his hess race car from gram and poppy!

ginger bead house

every year there is a ginger bread house at grandma's house. it has quickly become a tradition that cole helps to make it. this year he was just overwhelmed by all the candy put in front of him!

mr. reader

every night before bedtime we follow the same routine when home. we get into our pjs and then we cuddle on the bed and read stories. tonight cole insisted on reading to me first.

tree decorating

yesterday we went to pick out our tree at the tree farm. cole is so infatuated by christmas trees so he had a good time helping up pick one out this year. he even helped to decorate the tree a bit!

santa!!

my favorite time of the year has come!! we took cole to meet santa tonight. as you can tell he wasn't too sure about him. in his defense being thrown on some strangers lap while your parents walk away probably isn't the best idea in the world to a kid. he beared it long enough though for a picture then decided to reach and call for daddy to rescue him.

maryland

this weekend we took a family trip down to maryland for the baptism of welles. cole had a good time playing with his cousin clare as well as running around the hotel room. he looked sharp for the baptism in his little dress shirt!

daddy time

cole is daddy obsessed. in recent weeks it is non-stop daddy. as soon as he wakes he begins asking for him. we have a lot of sad evenings because daddy is at work and cole wants him home!

some days we like big boy underwear and the potty, and some days we do not!

parker

meet parker! this is my beautiful niece. i was so lucky to be able to get home in time to beat her being born AND to be able to photograph her.

nj time

since we came to see brooke, jon, and baby parker we got to spend a bunch of time at gram and poppys. cole loves his poppy. he follows him around and listens to intently to him. in the first picture they are looking for a bug cole saw.

parker!!

this morning we got the call that parker was coming! cole and i immediately packed up and rushed to new jersey! im so happy we were able to make it in time. cole did a great job waiting it out, by playing soccer in the hospital. parker is gorgeous!

halloween part 2

we started off the halloween night by going to the annual halloween parade for the kids. cole was not impressed. he was very quiet and not interested at all. he did pep up until we walked out the door. we only hit up a few houses in town, because he was tired. however everyone went way overboard with the amount they gave him that cole has plenty to share with us.
